Just throwing out there that (at least for me) this was resolved in the latest beta (24).

If you turn off Compact Vertex Format in the advanced settings, it will fix it. At this point, there are no plans to make the wires render properly with that setting on, but in the future we might be disabling that setting by default. Unfortunately fixing the rendering of those to work with that setting is a fairly sizable task and not really feasible to do from within Angelica itself and since Immersive Engineering isn't open source we can't fork it.

If you need to use compact vertex format, and want this bug to not appear, if you exclusively make your cable runs under 16 blocks, I think it won't happen
