Not all aspects of SmoothFont cause issues with the batched font renderer.
I just use it to remove the font shadow and dont have any issues for example.

But it kills the font, game is forced at default font so maybe at least give it a mention or it might be kinda hard for players to troubleshoot why the font is not working.
