When you zoom and interact with machine, chest, open a book, etc. your camera is bugged(camera movement remains sluggish) until game restart.

Found this bug in GTNH version 2.7.4, and tested in 2.8 beta, also bugged.

Final Checklist

• I have searched the issues and haven't found a similar issue.
• I have read the known incompatibilities and this is not related to one of those.
• I am running an officially released version. (Or, if I've compiled it myself I plan to fix the issue)

you can bind cinematic camera in controls and turn that on and off again to fix it, dont have to restart. but yeah this is a bug
