Mod removes stuff, attempts to fix and rebalance minecraft and add stuff from old versions as well as new stuff such as items or new mechanics with a focus on quality and a slower and harder playstyle. Whats listed it's not the whole picture, if you want the whole picture of the mod, try it yourself. Also the mod is nowhere near finished, whats here is just touching the surface.

Have you ever thought you ain't getting pinged on discord enough? Well in this case you can join my server as well!

Some changes I have made could be considered controversial so, i'll just say now that if you don't like it you don't have to play it(or you can just turn them off in the config file).

It removes stuff like:

  • The ability to sleep, as a reminiscence to the old days where you actually had to survive through the night.
  • Some enchants like all types of Protections above level 1, replacing it with one that combines all the effect of them.
  • Peaceful, Easy and Medium Difficulties that do not really fit the vision of what I'm aiming for this mod, also replaced with Harder and Hardest, with difficulty scaling to fit their names, the new baseline difficulty being Hard.
  • The Smite and Bane Of Arthropods are also removed due to the former being a bit redundant, and the latter being utterly useless, and of course there will be something added to fill the "gap left" by both.

Some of the old stuff (Re)Introduced:

  • Void Fog, ever since it was removed the underground wasn't the same, now it's (Re)Introduced better than ever.
  • Monoliths, they never really were a intended feature in the game, it was more a bug than anything, but it did add some character and mysticism so I had to bring them back.
  • Brick Pyramids, even though they basically served no purpose besides being a massive structure for Notch to check how the game handled structure generation, I felt it was still worth adding, with a small chance so they won't be redundant.
  • Cyan Rose, a console exclusive feature that made a comeback in the form of a mod and also added to serve a purpose!

Some stuff reworked:

  • Hardcore being renamed to Fever Dream, hardcore made by Mojang was just a glorified "Hard" difficulty, with nothing of value being actually different so naturally I had to fix this, features a different scaling compared to normal Hardcore and some special features left for you to find out!
  • The Experience System in vanilla Minecraft is flawed and just a glorified "Score" counter that basically resets after each death, I made it so it drops up to 100% of your experience by setting it in the config file and also a 20% less reduction in XP required for leveling up, the point of this is to make the XP be a more reliable resource to serve some extra purposes.
  • Unbreaking enchant has only 1 Tier and now doubles the tools Durability, making it more valuable on Higher Tier items.
  • Infinity now just has a 50% chance not to consume Arrows so that Arrows still have a reason to be used in the game and enable it to work with Dipped Arrows!
  • The Anvils have the 30 Level cap completely removed since it's stupid and if I say what I really think about it I would be in big trouble.
  • Stone Cutters have now the extra feature of Sharpening your Sword even further for a nice damage boost!
  • The Luck will be reworked so it will have a higher impact on gameplay, then being just something only tied to Fishing.

Stuff Introduced:

  • Long Swords, as the name suggests, sword but longer, a counterpart to normal Swords with higher range, more damage and less swing speed.
  • Crawl on Demand, just set your key in the "Key Binds" menu and have fun with it.
  • Quill & Ink to be used as a new way to set names to mobs.
  • "Block Breaking Falls", when falling on a softer block from a distance that would otherwise damage you, it breaks the block under you and provide some amount of damage reduction for that, something like a cushion.

Some QoL:

  • Chickens passively drop feathers from time to time which makes arrows crafting less tedious.
  • The compass always points to the North now.
  • Ability to place Torches, Lanterns and Candles on Lily Pads!
  • Cobwebs break automatically when walking through them after a small delay.
  • All Stairs recipes give 6 Stairs instead of 4.
