The mod Modern Industrialization has it's own power system that restricts the player to use power only generated by the mod's methods, but with the Flux Accessor, you can use stored FE power to power EU only machines.

There is a config option in Modern Industrialization that allows for bi-directional energy compat, but this problem happens with that config disabled.
