GeckoLib is required!
Armory of Destiny is a mod that adds both iconic and unique weapons with in-depth mechanics, each one of them has a high-quality model and texture; These weapons are made in an immersive way, step-by-step on the Armorer's Workshop - No interfaces, only pure in-world interaction. In the future there are planned to be more weapons, and items like artifacts, armors and even more!
Now, let's skim over the content currently present in the mod:
Murasama & Gun Sheath
An iconic duo of items - A High-Frequency katana with it's custom-made Gun Sheath. They are made separatedly, and when you hold the sheath in off-hand and sword in main hand, you can sheath it. After that, you can shoot out the sword whenever you want - After doing so, you will have a one second window to deal a devastating strike that will be significantly stronger. Also, by holding Shift you will launch yourself forward when unsheathing.
Dragon Slayer
Not a sword but rather a massive hunk of iron - This sword is slow, but packs a punch and has a large sweep radius. Yet this is no ordinary sword... The more damage you deal with it, the more powerfull it will become - Up to three times the base damage!
Sharp Irony
A unique weapon of it's own kind - A throwing knife fan. It can hold up to five metallic feathers which can be launched by pressing RMB, and if you also hold Control, the fan will launch every feather it has. Additionally, the fan can be manually closed or opened if you RMB while holding Shift.
Punisher
This beast is a rocket-propelled hammer. Hammers are very slow weapons, but they deal massive amounts of damage in one hit. However, if you press RMB, you will ignite the hammer's engines, which will give you three strikes that are significantly stronger, and are also much faster.
Originium Catalyst & Originium Katana
Originium Catalyst is a simple item on it's own, stacking up to 16. But if you RMB while holding it, you will activate it and it will turn into an Originium Katana - An expendable sword with only 64 durability, but katanas make up for their low durability with very fast attack speed, solid damage and additional reach.
Armorer's Workshop
Armorer's Workshop is the core of this mod - A crafting station split into two blocks and two items:
Blueprints
These items are necessary to craft the weapons, and they also contain the list of all necessary ingredients in their description. A blueprint for a specific weapon can be found almost anywhere, but they are quite rare, so keep an eye out for them!
Smithing Hammer
This tool is the beginning point. You'll need it to craft the special items on the workshop.
Armorer's Crafting Table
This block is the core of the workshop. By interacting with it's top side, you will open a usual crafting table menu for your convenience, but if you interact with it's front drawers, you will open up it's internal storage.
Armorer's Tinkering Table
Now this is where magic happens - This block serves as a crafting table for all of mod's special items. First, you put the blueprint on the top side of the block - The ingredient you have to put in will be displayed as a floating, rotating item. You have to put that item in, it will be displayed lying down on the table. When you've done so, press the top side with a Smithing Hammer - If the ingredient is correct, the crafting will proceed to the next step. Repeat this process until the crafting is done, then you can take your craft. Good job! However, if you wish to abort the crafting and retreive all items, make sure your hand is empty and then Shift+RMB the top side - It will take out the blueprint and all items will drop. Also, the lying blueprint can be duplicated if you interact with the top side while holding Book and Quill. Lastly, you can hang your trusty hammer on the hooks on the front side of the table, handy isn't it?
As of now, that's all! I would really appreciate any feedback or suggestions you might have. But most importantly, have fun!
