Experience bar and level shows in creative mode

Not much to explain here, exp shows in creative no matter the settings. mod ver 8.0 in 1.21.4.

I cannot replicate this. Can you share your config? Are there any other mods in the instance?

No other mods, happens on a fresh instance so it's all default, it specifically shows when pressing g to reveal HUD.

I'm using fabric loader 0.16.9, Fabric API 0.114.0 and Java 23 if that helps.

Interesting, I did not realise that experience usually does not show in creative mode. Huh.
