Hotbar shows when switching filled slots but not when switching empty slots.
If that is intended, could you add an option to disable this?

That is indeed intended behaviour. I'll look into adding an option.

I thought about it again, and now I agree with you. Changed the behaviour to match what you asked for. Pushed 2.1 to address this. Thanks for the issue :)
