The Aether mod has an item called "Life Shard". It increases the player's HP and has a custom icon, exemplified in the images below:

The Aether mod ifself doesn't have a "Hide UI" option. This bug probably happens just because of the gray heart icon.

I tried adding this, but their build setup is too convoluted. :(
