Bamboo 2: Modded Boogaloo

General

This small mod was initially created when I discovered that bamboo is not compostable.

Without doing any further research into the topic, I decided to make bamboo edible too.

Changes

By default the mod introduces the following changes:

• Bamboo can now be composted
• Bamboo can be cooked and eaten
• Bamboo can be eaten raw

My goal with this mod was to give you the ability to customize it to your liking, so pretty much any feature can be turned off or fine tuned via its config file.

Note on version 0.3

Version 0.3 includes an experimental feature that allows Bamboo to spread Should you decide to tweak the configuration file, I suggest you create a backup of your world. Depending on how you configure this feature, it may have a significant impact on your performance and the state of your world.

Notes on version 0.4

version 0.4 removes the experimental spread feature. It turned out to be more hassle than it was worth.

Version 1.18.1_0.4 also works with Miencraft 1.18.2.

Downloads from other sites

You may see other websites offering downloads of this mod. The only "official" download of this mod is this page.
