In this mod, you can destroy bedrock using a block called a thumper. The thumper will turn the bedrock into fractured bedrock over the course of about 2 minutes. Breaking this fractured bedrock yields bedrock fragments, which can be crafted into bedrock ingots. Those can in turn be used to make a various assortment of tools and armor that can aid the player in their quest for... Well. Minecraft stuff I suppose.
