BEETLEBOX

The order of beetles, Coleoptera, is the largest of all orders, constituting almost 25% of all known animal species.

Conversely, of the 70+ mobs in Minecraft, only 3 are even arthropods, and none of them are beetles. I intend to close this gap.

BEETLEBOX is a mod that adds 7 new (beetle) mobs to the game, 7 elytra-enabled armorsets, and a boiler that makes gelatin.
