Currently there are situations where new versions of the mod cause blocklings from older versions to despawn when deserialisng as the proper checks are not in place and cause exceptions to be thrown. This means users can lose their blockling between versions!

Edit: This will be good to do sooner rather than later to make the beta versions more accessible for those wanting to carry on saves across versions.
