Living Armour jump buff impacts extrautils2 angel ring

When wearing Living Armour with the Strong Legs jump buff and the extrautils2 angel ring (that allows for creative flight), pressing W while flying moves you upward, and pressing S moves you downward, in addition to their normal directions.
Affected Versions:
- extrautils2: 1.7.5
- BloodMagic: 2.2.7-90
- Minecraft: 1.12.2
- Forge: 14.23.2.2611
Doesn't the Strong Legs jump buff only use the Jump event? Would be weird if that somehow impacts the ring.
Maybe it's something else, I just guessed the jump buff because that would make the most sense... Might be speed or similar.
