Blood armor jump buff issue

Issue Description:

Dust for 1.12.2 has path blocks that add velocity to entities that run on them.

With blood armor set equipped (health boost, step assist, jump boost, and some speed increese on set) player goes to run on path blocks and does not see any speed increase.

What happens:

No speed increase until player jumps and after landing the issue is resolved until the player is no longer running on the path blocks.

What you expected to happen:

Player to be running, come up to the path blocks while running, and run quicker. Like they would without the armor (and its effects) equipped.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Download and install Dust for 1.12.2 latest build on curseforge (mod authored by Mowmaster)
  2. Install Blood magic and guide api
  3. Put effects on armor and run on path blocks

This was found after updating a dev pack of mods, you can contact me on discord for info on the pack or any other questions.

Also as the author of dust I'm wondering if somehow me adding velocity to the entity running on my blocks is the issue or since the issue resolves after landing from a jump if it's a blood magic issue. I'm open to conversation on this since it needs to be resolved one way or the other.

Affected Versions (Do not use "latest"):

  • BloodMagic: latest alpha build available on curse forge for download
  • Minecraft: 1.12.2
  • Forge: 2611(2655 is recommended atm I believe)

Do not use "latest" means you should specify which version you are using, for instance 1.12.2-2.2.8-91... ^^

Wasn't sure if curse forge uploads were latest since some mods choose to build to a maven and consider that their latest.

Ill test more when I'm back at my computer later today

@Mowmaster when in game, go to the menu and click the "Mod Options..." button on the right below "Open to LAN" and to the right of "Options...".
There, enter "Blood Magic" (without quotation marks).
Write the string of numbers, periods/dots and dashes below "Blood Magic: Alchemical Wizardry" into "Affected Versions | Blood Magic: (enter here)".

It should look something like 1.XX(.X)-X.X.XX-XX
The currently latest version on Curseforge (as of May 4th, 2018) for example is: 1.12.2(Minecraft Version)-2.2.12-97
