• affected blocks float up with negative gravity (would also prevent weirdness when activating many Laputa arrays in close vincinity)
• area is marked with sparks at the block border of outer blocks
• activates after a short delay
• can throw some valuable block in during delay to increase size / change altitude
• entities in the area become affected by levitation shortly before blocks float upwards
• blocks latch on the first (solid) block they it or, if they don't hit one, float up a set distance

I want all these, especially if there was some way to set height and size. Not too found of the cross your fingers method.

There's no cross your fingers with the current Laputa array. The size is a random value in a specific range (I believe 5 to 11), so they're not all the same size (which would be stupid).

But if you put a lot of arrays next to each other, they move each other up (or down) and it ends up being messy (not to mention that it doesn't look very... "natural").

That is exactly what I meant by crossing your fingers, I want things to look natural too but I also want the option to control things like width and height if need be. Attached a screenshot to illustrate the point I'm trying to make.
