Foreword

Veil of Evil is a 1.7.10 Ritual that allows mob spawning to ignore light level restrictions.

Reference implementation

(NoMod) allow mob spawning regardless of light level. See #1578 (Ritual port form 1.7.10)


Proposed Will Augmentations (to be implemented in the future)

(Raw) Place chest with materials specific to the dimension or even biome to spawn their mobs (i.e. (Default proposal) Grass Block: Overworld/plains, Nether Quartz Ore: Nether, Ender Dragon Egg: End (The proposal is meant to have at least some challenge to be able to spawn dimension-specific mobs)) [Should read from config for custom dimensions/biomes with their own mobs]

(Corrosive) Mobs spawn only close to Players that do not have a bound item in the chest above the MRS. Also increases spawn rate of baby versions.

(Destructive) Mobs spawns are stronger/equipped but killing them has a higher chance of yielding loot (they are killed with additional luck levels? possible requirement for future BM ingredients)

(Steadfast) Place mob skulls (on 4 runes bordering the MRS/into a chest on top of the MRS?) to get only select mobs (if they're common, like Zombies or Skeletons, or Pigmen) or to enable rare mobs to spawn (Wither Skeleton), requires to be in the correct dimension/biome. [Should read from config to add custom skulls/mobs (EnderIO Enderman head, Celebrity player mob skulls etc.]

(Vengeful) Applies the following potion effect to all mobs in the ritual area: [Vengeful] If killed by a player, there is a chance that up to 1+AMPLIFIER copies of the original mob spawn. In addition, all hostile entities in a large area will be affected by the [Speed] potion effect.
