Issue Description:

Playing in a custom modpack, the server crashed and shutdown when suddenly near Piglin and Oh the Biomes You'll Go Soul Shroom Spores while exploring the nether.

What happens:

We were exploring the nether together, when suddenly the server shuts down, and upon restarting, crashes again. I think my player was into blood magic? but I'm not sure which entity had the plant leech effect.

What you expected to happen:

The server to not crash

Steps to reproduce:

1. Approach soul shroom spores near Piglin while under the effects of plant leech
2. server crashes
3. log in while active entities are still loaded
4. crash again
   ...
