I have checked the latest version of blood magic wants 1.19.2 version of Patchouil but I downloaded it for 1.20.1 check your mod out.
We did forget to update the mods.toml file when switching from 1.19 (incomplete port never released) to 1.20. However, since it is checking for that version or later, it isn't going to break anything (as shown by most people not having this issue). It only causes confusion for people who don't have Patchouli installed.
In dev we are using Patchouli 1.20.1-80-FORGE. It should work with that or any later 1.20.1 version.

Forge thinks you don't have Patchouli installed at all. If it thought the version was wrong it would list the version it did see. If you are certain that you do have Patchouli 1.20 installed then please post a picture of your mods folder.
