I have recently thought, I'm a blood mage yet I look like any common warrior. I have recently come across a robes and wands mod. (The robes have the enchantablity of gold, durability of iron but less protection then leather and they can absorb at least one potion effect permanently into the robe.) The point I'd like to suggest is in the name of blood mage in general, having a robe like version of living armor with its own balances for those who might want to fit the part.

It could have a big eldritch eye cape

I do like the idea of a Living Armour alternate, but I might want one to function differently. Maybe more upgrade points for decreased protection, or maybe only more points if you boost it with Draft of Angelus.
