- calamity craft is a mod that i have decided to develop using mcreator and is based off of of the well known terraria mod calamity.
- when i set out to make this mod i thought of how can i add a large amount more progression in to the 1.12.2 version of the game, and instantly thought back to the terraria mod calamity which adds in a large amount more to the progression of terraria as a whole, thus i decided "why not base a Minecraft mod or this one after it" and so i did, with the calamity craft mod once i finish it to 1.0 you can expect a fair amount of progression to be added to the game, from new bosses to additional dimensions and biomes and even adding magic into the game with new weapons. however as of now (beta 0.5) only 2/4ths of this are implemented in the forms of new dimensions and biomes however with this comes the additional progression, currently only wooden tools are needed to explore this biome (aside from the infected needing 14 hits from just a un-enchanted diamond sword) but once 1.0 rolls out you will need diamond gear in its entirety to explore it. anyways i hope you enjoy it.

FEATURES:
currently this mod features little content but the concurrent mod content is as described below.
BIOMES:
- the astral infection
- the astrum underground (biome for the dimension astrum underground or far-gone core of the Astrum origin)
ADITIONAL DIEMNSIONS
-the astrum origins dimension (surface of the astrum origins concept as a whole)
-the astrum underground/far-gone core (underground of the astrum origins concept as a whole)(these 2 names are the same but currently the name as a whole is undecided)
MOBS
-infected zombie (a placeholder for the actual enemies of the surface astrum origins)
- far-gone zombie (a placeholder for the actual enemies of the Astrum underground)
EQUIPMENT
-Astralite tools (sword and pickaxe are the only ones implemented currently)
BLOCKS
-numerous building blocks that have extensive uses (NOTE: a texture revamp is needed for these and is coming soon with the 1.0 release)
FLUIDS
- infected water
- far-gone magma (NOTE: this also requires a texture revamp and is currently NEAR INVISABLE be cautions when in the Astrum underground for it)
MAGIC
[{(NOTE no magic is currently implemented but a large amount of it is coming in the near future mainly in the 1.0 release, UPDATE: magic will be coming roughly in the 3.0 release (2.0 will be the abyss and sulphurous sea, alongside the first mobs from calamity ))}]
BOSSES
- numerous bosses are coming but as of now i only have plans to add 2 by the time 1.0 is released, these being astrum aureus and astrum deus

FUTURE PLAND CONTNET
after the 1.0 release i plan to add plentiful new content such as several more bosses, biomes, dimensions and more but as of now i want to finish the astrum infection. after 1.0 i do have light plans to add a set of biomes from calamity all regrading the sulphurous sea and abyss.

currently this mod only features the astral infection in a unique from that i have spent a fair amount of time working on, also this is my first project on curse forge so don't expect anything special or porting it to later/previous versions.
NOTE: this mod is in its EARLY BETA phase and may differ highly from 1.0 however i doubt this cus I'm very on/off about this project.
