REWORK: Computers behave like actual desktops, and CDs have filesystems

CDs should have a filesystem: folders and files. Computers can read these files, which can give the player information such a text document with lore, a recipe file for the infuser (or even vanilla recipes), and pictures.
This could also be extended into a camera system. Certain considerations must be made on what cameras are available to what computers, such as a simulated networking system.
It is unknown if any of these systems have already been made in a library mod, that can be used for changed or if they have to be written from scratch.
Can't wait to send emails to Minecraft players in Minecraft.
Okay, on a more serious note. I think computers should have a little more then a text editor. Just so they are a bit more useful (and fun).
I've heard of people implementing computers in games though, but what kind of design do you want? A virtual machine?
I heard someone made an open computer module in 1.12, I'll look for the link when I have time.

I'm pretty just making a fake desktop and programs, kinda like the computer from MrCrayfish's Furniture Mod. Virtualizing an entire computer platform is probably not the goal...
我听说有人在 1.12 中制作了一个开放的计算机模块,我有时间会找链接。

i think a text editor, email and the cds file stuff would be enough, we prob wouldn't want to overload servers or something, maybe an internet browser as well
only prob the not so obvious vanilla recipes should be on CDs probably, maybe also the concrete crafting tutorial
If this is the case, maybe adding a new storage medium, such as a hard disk, is needed. Because CDs are not suitable for long-term storage. (Who told you to talk about science in Minecraft???)
And is it possible to add a feature to copy files to the actual desktop? (BREAKING THROUGH THE DIMENSIONAL WALL!!!)
Current Mod size: 164 MB
After completed: 1.64 GB
You mean that the Desktop would have a System that can Read discs and Open Security Cameras? If so,would be cool to be able to lock and open a Lock Door using a system like "Linked Doors" [You link A position of a Door to look or open the door using the Desktop from a Far and maybe have a distance limite]
