Stiger has fixed eye color, not inheriting the player's eye color

With the Stiger, even if you have your eye color set to something, the color will remain the same, is this intentional? (wondering because in the post transfur screen of the stiger transfur in Changed Special Edition Lin/Colin retains his Eye color)
