This is my first mod for Minecraft.
In this mod, you can play some kinds of chess, including Chinese chess, Weiqi, and gobang.
Every piece can be created with materials in Minecraft vanilla. It is advised to add a JEI mod to search for the recipes.
The board consists of board blocks which can be made of wood planks, sticks and coal. You should assemble it by yourself.
The following picture shows the structure of the boards:
It is strongly advised to play with your friends in Multi-player mode. You can collect materials for pieces and play chess together.
Now military chess (军棋) is available!
Main Features:
1. Combine three slabs to get templates for military chess.
2. Use vanilla items to upgrade piece level, and you will get an extra piece for next upgrade.
3. Sappers can be upgraded to platoon commander and higher level pieces or produce mine and bomb,
4. In some cases, your opponent is not allowed to see your pieces. As a result, the default state of pieces is "standing", and you can right-click it without pieces in your hand to make it "lying down",
5. The pieces in your hand are hidden and no one can see them except you.
6. Right-click the pieces with any type of pickaxe in your hand to directly get the pieces.
7. Right-click the pieces with any other pieces in your hand, the mod will automatically compare the levels of the pieces and drop the low-level pieces.
