Description

ATM8 Modpack

Player accidentally fired an aoe intangible spell (Ars Nouveau 1.19.2-3.6.2) instead of a Silk Touch spell at a Phytogenic Insolater. Character crashed and had to be nbt edited to the overworld as relogging instantly recrashed no matter what was closed/updated/etc. between attempts. OP characters can enter cube or tp to cube coordinates, however nothing is visible or can be physically interacted with. Oddly some items which are no longer visible still function - our Refined Storage auto-crafting and Waystone still work. (I don't know if EVERYTHING in there is still working as not everything is part of autocrafting, but all our machines were in there)

If an OP teleports in either with cube or waystone they glitch between two adjacent vertical numbers and cannot move outside the normal confines of the invisible cube. For some reason teleporting to this cube as op also wipes your inventory for the duration of the visit.
I can fly over as OP and run into the walls of the block, but everything is completely invisible and cannot be built on or even destroyed in creative mode.

How to reproduce

  1. Cast Proj->Intangible->Pierce x3->AOE x2 at machine inside a compact machine (done as a non-op survival player)
  2. Crash
  3. Machine and contents invisible but functional if part of automation to everyone AND non-op player cannot load in without being edited

This is definitely still an issue IMO as I feel the mods shouldn't interact like that. SOMETHING that was in the Compact Machine and was in the AOE of the spell went crazy and invisibled everything inside including the walls.

HOWEVER, after all the normal, minor methods of recovery failed me, I dropped a chunk destroyer with Silk Touch next to the invisible machine. It successfully collected 90ish% of the Machine contents minus additional Compact Machines (our energy machines were nested inside). I /home'd to put some of the recovered items away and used /back to discover I could now SEE the Machine(as well as those items the Destroyer missed) AND the player who was unable to login was able to login without a location edit from the server admin. So if anyone else manages to pull off this glitch on this pack... there's a solution for you.
