Description

Title is as descriptive as I can be, the item tunnels don't properly connect for whatever reason. Using hoppers to move items into or out of the machine causes the item to vanish, and infinitely many items can be deleted this way.

How to reproduce

1. Use any compact machine, put a hopper facing into it
2. Use an item tunnel to connect to that face
3. Place a chest in front of the item tunnel
4. Any item the hopper pushes into the compact machine gets deleted

I have learned that this is the expected behavior. I was not aware that tunnels have an internal inventory, I believe it worked differently in a much older version.
