Core Anti-Cheat

Core Anti-Cheat

5.2k Downloads

We now support 1.12.2, 1.16.5, 1.17.1, and 1.18.1.

This is a server AND client mod. Having it only on the server will prevent any users from joining. Having it only on the client will result in the mod being completely useless. Remember that Core Anti Cheat is currently a work in progress, core functionality should work, but bugs may arise. This mod is currently only available for 1.12.2 + 1.16.5 + 1.17.1 + 1.18.1, but may be backported in the future. Currently this is the most advanced anti-cheat mod.

Installation 1.16.5 - 1.18.1:
1. Add all the mods to the server.
2. Run the server once and keep the console open.
3. Look for "CoreAntiCheat - Copy this:" in the console, and copy from the beginning bracket to the end bracket.
4. Navigate to the world file inside the server, go to "serverconfig", and open up "coreanticheat-server.toml" in your preferred text editor.
5. In the field "allowedMods" replace the set of brackets with what was copied from the console.
6. Save and restart the server! You're good to go!

Installation 1.12.2:

FAQ:
Q: Why am I getting kicked for Illegal Mod Detected?
A: Either the client or server have a mismatched mod list. Both sides must have the exact same mods and mod version in order to be compatible. This feature can be disabled in the server configuration.
Q: Why am I getting kicked for Illegal Modification Detected?
A: You may have programs like Cheat Engine or Process Hacker running in the background. Such programs are detected by the anti-cheat, and will prevent joining onto the server. This feature can be disabled in the server configuration.

Q: Why am I getting kicked for Incorrect Mod Version?
A: Either the client or server have an outdated version of Core Anti-Cheat. Please update to the latest version for the best compatibility and anti-cheat features.

Q: How can I report bugs and/or issues with the mod?
A: Create a 'New Issue" in the Issues tab, and provide as much information as possible. The issue will be looked at within a few days.

What is /screenshot?:

/screenshot is simply a command that allows a user of appropriate permission level to view the Minecraft screen of another player. Note that this screenshot is of their actual Minecraft screen, and behaves similarly to F2. Neither their desktop, nor anything else that is not their Minecraft window is able to be viewed.
