This is a very simple mod created for the sole purpose of providing an alternative method to obtaining nether stars. Using a few netherrack, a nether star can be crafted as opposed to continuously fighting the wither. The idea was inspired from 'Nether Core' by RenEvo.
Crafting:
9 Netherrack = 1 Compressed Netherrack x1
9 Compressed Netherrack x1 = 1 Compressed Netherrack x2
9 Compressed Netherrack x2 = 1 Compressed Netherrack x3
9 Compressed Netherrack x3 = 1 Compressed Netherrack x4
9 Compressed Netherrack x4 = 1 Compressed Netherrack x5
The 5th compressed netherrack can be smelted into a nether star.
Seems easy? The whole process takes roughly 150,000 netherrack, making it just difficult enough to obtain without breaking the game.
