Add Natural Gas And Coal Liquefaction

Add natural gas which can be pumped up from the ground, similar to crude oil. From this you could get methane, ethane, propane, ect. These could be used in reactions or as fuels for blaze burners, furnaces, ect. Also, it is hard to find crude oil in survival because the explosives needed are hard to get without having oil first. To solve this, add a way to make oil products using coal liquefaction to get things such as straight chain carbons, sulfur, and various byproducts such as alcohols, aldehydes, acids, and even benzene. However, make this less efficient than using crude oil to encourage advancing to oil, using coal products as an intermediary step.
