Suggestions for Vat Industrial Production

Suggestions for vat:

  1. When opening the glass above the vat, exhaust gases based on its pressure and stratification, rather than replacing the whole vat with air.
    Meanwhile, I think it is also possible to add some inert gases (such as argon and neon) to replace the air in the whole vat.
    Of course, it is not limited to inert gases, and other gases involved in the reaction (such as hydrogen) should also be used to replace the air in the reaction system.
    This will be helpful for some reactions that may be added in version 1.0, such as preventing iron (II) ions from being oxidized.

  2. For the material, glass for the vat, I suggest that it should not only be limited to vanilla glass, but also compatible with the framed glass in create mod, crystal clear mod casing glass (even glass panels).
    framed glass of the create is clearer compared to the vanilla glass. i think can help players see what is happening in the vat. After all, destroy is an addition to create mod.

  3. Glass material vat can (almost) completely vacuum.
    This is similar to 1. above.
    Although other materials (theoretically) can vacuum, it cannot be used because only glass can input and output (of course, you can also add input and output to other materials for vat).
    Moreover, vacuuming glassware should be a common operation (vanilla glass is one meter thick after all). (And I don't want the vat
    to show that there is always oxygen and nitrogen present in. XD)

  4. Add a mixer suitable for vat. (input kinetic at the top of the vat, similar to the mixer in create mod)
    Stiring can increase the reaction speed. And it makes the liquid move around, i think it’s interesting.XD

  5. Add spray heads suitable for vat.
    Increasing the reaction area with the gas, as well as the reaction speed.(also looks pretty cool i think)
    This may be useful for reactions that require the participation of gases and liquids.

  6. Vertical vat.
    The vat controller should be able to be placed at the top or bottom of the vat, rather than just on the side.
    This may be useful for players who need to build some special factories in the future.

  7. Show the color of the ions (complex (?)) in the solution.
    This seems to have been mentioned in the previous suggestion.
    But I would like to make some additions, such as when iron (II) ions and copper (II) ions coexist, the mixed colors can be displayed during coloring.

Other:

  1. Add stronger cooling systems, such as Stirling refrigerators.
    This can freeze the air and separate it by using the differences between the boiling points of each component of the air. So players can produce relatively pure oxygen, nitrogen, and other rare gases. (industrial production methods)
    These gases can be loaded into the gas tank (as mentioned in the previous suggestions)

  2. Add organic compounds such as sugars, fatty acids, proteins (enzymes), etc. (closer to daily life.)
    I know that adding these organic compounds may cause huge modeling difficulties, but I think for some organic compounds with excessively large models, molecular model diagrams can be used directly or only a simple introduction. These may help it.
    At the same time, I think you can also follow the example of Mek or Create, using Shift or Control buttons to change the forms of the introduction.

  • 1 - "Flushing" (as it's called internally) current works a bit weirdly and that will probably be worked on

  • 2 and 3 - More Vat materials will be coming soon, probably including a stronger (and clearer) glass

  • 4, 5 and 6 - These are neat in concept but not super high priority, as their purposes are already fulfilled

  • 7 - This is already the case


  • 1 - This is already possible just by cooling a Vat

  • 2 - Biochem is a potential avenue being considered, but won't be super soon

By the way, I've been thinking about the display of molecular models again recently.
I think some online websites may help. For example: https://molview.org/
It provides the download of the molecular model .mol file, as well as the 3D display of the molecular model and so on. The molecular model file seems to directly provide the coordinates and chemical bonds of the positions of each atom in this molecule. It may be possible to solve the problems in making molecular models. Of course, I'm not sure. Maybe it can be combined with Destroy's "FROWNS" method.

I think that website might be based on OpenBabel, which Destroy will probably start using too. It will allows much greater flexibility in the structure of molecules, as currently, cyclic (and especially polycyclic) molecules are very difficult to work with.
