CONTENT GOALS:
-BIOME ADDITIONS-
-(Biome) : Quartz Plains
- Fairly rare, located in the nether
- Complete change of atmosphere from regular Nether biomes, lighter atmospheric colors
- Mostly quartz floor materials
- Includes floating white quartz dust particles
- Placing a cauldron in this biome fills it with quartz dust which may be combined with copper ore in a crafting table to reverse the oxidation process
- Higher quantity of bone structures
- Creature spawns
- Cow Skeleton
- Chicken skeleton
- Pig skeleton
- Peaceful skeleton
- -(Biome) : Charred Forest
- Very rare, only spawns around birch forests
- Trees are made up of Charred Birch, Charred Leaves
- Ground made up of charred grass
- Includes floating grey dust particles
- Applies blindness effect upon nightfall
- Creature spawns
- Peaceful Skeleton
- No other mobs spawn in this biome, all try to avoid it
- Upon nightfall if a player is standing in a charred forest, phantoms WILL spawn
-CREATURE ADDITIONS-
- -(Creature) : Dead creatures
- Dead bonelike versions of existing minecraft creatures, in the same fashion as a skeleton or skeleton horse. Includes:
- Cow
- Chicken
- Pig
- Behaviors:
- Peaceful unless a player is holding the corresponding food from each animal (raw/cooked chicken, steak, porkchops, ect.)
- Will not retaliate after attack
- Flee from Piglens, player
- Regular mobs become dead mobs upon entering the nether
- Dead mobs will become ovrworld mobs upon leaving nether
- Overworld mobs will avoid nether portals, dead mobs will run towards portals and try to enter them
- Spawns in the nether, mainly resides in Quartz Plains, also common in the ashy biome
- Drops bones
- Do not produce offspring
- Creatures become content upon being fed rotten flesh
-GAMEPLAY ADDITIONS-
- -(Behaviours) : “peaceful” skeletons
- Upon a skeleton spawning/entering Charred Forest or Quartz Plains, it will become peaceful
- Peaceful skeletons will avoid crossing boundaries between biomes at all costs
- If a player pushes a peaceful skeleton out of its biome, it becomes aggressive
- If a player pushing a regular skeleton into one of its peaceful biomes, it will drop its bow and possibly arrows, and become peaceful
