Incorrect rotation of legs, error in UV for elytra.
I decided to open the bird model from Kittybit#1848 in BB and found out that the plugin is not working properly.

Yes, old models created on old versions of the mod may not open. But it's easy to fix, just re-open and save them through the in-game editor.
Also, some models do not open at all. Is it because they are old?
