Plenty of modded armour doesn't render properly when CPM is installed, whether you're using a CPM skin or not.

This includes:
Tinkers' Construct (Leggings and Boots render more towards the outside of the player's legs.
Astral Sorcery (part of the Mantle of the Stars does not render)
More recently, parts some helmets have not been following the player model.
These armours render incorrectly for as long as the mod is installed.

This does not affect some mods, such as Twilight Forest, AbyssalCraft and Sakura. All of their armours appear to render completely fine.

Construct's Armoury leggings and boots are misaligned.

Parts of the Astral Sorcery mantle disappear into the player model.

Helmets not following the player model. This appears to be a problem with vanilla-style helmets that use two layers, much like vanilla skins. Only the top layer is affected by this.

What minecraft version are you using?

1.12.2 with the lastest version of CPM.

I'll add that to the title of the issue.
