I actually recorded this to sum it up better. While testing a Sonic the Hedgehog player model, I noticed that one of my custom poses for him overwrites the other existing 2. I don't know if this bug is a mod compatibility issue (as I do have other mods on in this recording), or if it's just an issue with testing.

Upon further investigation, this bug persists outside of testing and with no other mods enabled.
