I was the one who commented about more info items on the curseforge page, I went ahead and wrote up a bunch of ideas. I was heavily inspired by Terraria's PDA accessory (which combines all of the info items in the game.), thus why the combined items exist.

Standalone Items:
=============================

Sextant: Displays horizontal coordinates when used. Crafted from 4 gold ingots and 2 glass panes.

Navigator's Compass: Points north rather than to your spawn point, has a blue needle instead of a red one. crafted from a compass, 1 iron ingot, and 1 lapis lazuli. Also shows the direction you are currently facing.

Radar: Detects if there are any containers not yet opened by players within the same chunk as the user, saying "there are X unopened containers nearby". Crafted from an observer, and eye of ender, 2 iron bars (as in the block, not the ingot), and 2 iron ingots, and 2 sticks. Resembles a bunch of antennae sticking out of a box with a small green-black screen and a few dials.

Wildlife Guide: A trade from the wandering trader, indicates if there are any "rare" mobs nearby, saying "(mob name) nearby". The mobs this item detects can be edited via a list in the configuration file. Looks like a green book with a paw-print icon on it.

Entity Scanner: resembles a radar gun with multiple antenna coming out of its "barrel". Shows the name, attributes, health, and armor of the entity looked at. If Neat or another health bar mod is installed, this tool makes it so their info panels replace this one's, and they only appear when you have this item in your hotbar/inventory/curio artifact slot.

Ore detector: found rarely in mineshaft chests. Tells the player what the rarest ore near to them is. Mod compat may either be added by default or done via config files. Looks like a handheld metal detector.

Power Meter: Occasionally dropped by vindicators, show the damage you dealt on your last attack. Resembles a seismograph.

Stopwatch: Tells the player how fast they are moving. Occasionally sold by the wandering trader. Looks like am old fashioned gold watch with a chain.

Kill Counter: Shows your total kill count of the last entity you killed. Occasionally dropped by baby zombies. Resembles a golf stroke counter.

Moon Calendar: Rare drop from zombies or skeletons, as long as they are not from a mob spawner, they have a chance to spawn holding it. Looks like a dark blue calendar with a crescent moon icon on its cover. Shows the current moon phase (plus compatibility with Enhanced celestials events like Blue Moons, Blood Moons, and Harvest Moons)

Weather Radio: Occasionally dropped by drowned. Tells you the current weather (Clear, Rain, Thunderstorms, or modded weather events from Better Weather and Seasons, like overcast or blizzard.). Looks like a small gray box with a dark spot as the speaker and a few various dots as dials.

Almanac: If Better Weather and Seasons is installed, it is a Trade from master ranked farmer villagers. Shows the current season. Looks like an orange book with white on the cover.

Big Book of Biomes: A possible trade from the wandering trader. is a dark brown book with a small green and blue dot on the cover. Shows the current biome you are in.

Interdimensional Triangulator: Found in end city chests. Looks like a triangular flat piece of tan rock, with a dark, ender pearl aqua colored "screen" in the middle. Tells you what dimension you are in.

Block Analyzer: Resembles a magnifying glass but with a square blue screen on the end of it instead of a round lens. Tells you the name, hardness, and harvestability of the block you are looking at. If "The One Probe", "Hwyla", or "Jade" are installed, it will instead use their info panels, and will only have them show up when the player has this item.

Photometer: Tells the player the light level of the block looked at. If Light Level Overlay is installed, it will show that overlay rather than just telling you the light level of that one block.

Ruler: Just a wooden ruler. Shows the distance (in blocks) between you and the block you are looking at.

Combined Items:
==================================

Explorer's Toolkit: Crafted from the Sextant, Navigators Compass, and Clock. Displays all three of it's components info. Shows a blue toolbox with a compass rose icon on it.

Surveyor's Toolkit: Combines the functions of the radar, block analyzer, and ore detector by crafting them all together. Its an orange toolbox with a magnifying glass icon on it.

Naturalist's Toolkit: combines the functions of the wildlife guide, entity scanner, Big Book of Biomes, and Interdimensional Triangulator by crafting them together. Its a green toolbox with the icon of a tree on it.

Warrior's Toolkit: combines the functions of the power meter, stopwatch, and kill counter by crafting them all together. Its a red toolbox with the icon of 2 crossed swords on it.

Forecaster's Toolkit: combines the functions of the moon calendar, weather radio, and almanac into one item by crafting them all together. Its a gray toolbox with a half bright and half dark circle on it. If Better Weather and Seasons is not installed, the almanac wont be needed in order to craft it.

Builder's Toolkit: Combines the functions of the photometer and ruler by crafting them together. Its a yellow toolbox with the icon of a hammer on it.

Ultimate Toolkit: Combining all the toolkits functions together by crafting them together along with 2 iron ingots and 1 iron bar. Its a brown toolbox with the icon of a gear on it.

Tweaks:
=============================

All items can be shift right clicked to toggle their (or if they are a combined item. their component's) various functions on or off via a menu, and will display their info as long as they are in the hotbar (or inventory, and/or the curios artifact slot, depending on how the mod is configured and if curios is installed.)

Clock shows the time in numbers when in the hotbar (or any of the other things).

Further things to consider:
=======================

Allow the player to combine their atlas (if antique atlas is installed) with the toolkit at the smithing table, which then Brings back the minimap from older versions of the mod to the top right corner of the screen, with all the various info from other components below it. Pressing a keybind will allow the player to open the larger map as one would with the normal atlas.

Combining it with a magic mirror item from any mod that adds one (bountiful baubles, magic mirror, etc.) at the smithing table will allow the player to teleport back to their spawnpoint via pressing a keybind. This would make it like the Cell Phone item in terraria, which combines the previously mentioned PDA item with a magic mirror.

Note: Both the magic mirror AND the Atlas would be able to be put onto the same ultimate toolkit if this were to be implemented.

I know that this thread has been dead for a while, but I wanted to add that with antique atlas proving more problematic at times, and with 1.18.2 being the new "flagship version" (at least until 1.19 drops), I would recommend Simple Maps instead.
