I have a goal to bring DragonBlock to the modern Minecraft Era. This mod is not a continuation, or port of the original mod. Due to the version the original DragonBlock C was/is being developed in, I have started from scratch.
DragonBlock Environment will act as the foundation for the second mod (more on that below). The plan is for it to provide blocks, items, biomes, dimensions, world types, and other things in that vein (Get it, Vein, because Minecraft... ah screw it).
As it stands DBEnvironment already has a selection of blocks that will be used in many of the structures and a close to finished Namek dimension (Requires polishing at a later date). These current features are able to be seen in the images section. The next goal is the HyperBolic Time Chamber (Possibly including something neat VERY far out).
The second mod will include things such as a story system that will be able to be edited by the player, or modpack makers. A customizable player model with animations akin to the Animated Player Model Mod will be one of the big things. A stat and skill system that will allow leveling up of skill such as flight, defense aura, and anything else that sounds cool.
The final big thing the second mod will hold is a more unique concept that I don't think I have ever seen in a mod... Story Zones. Rather than having to deal with finding specific structures in the overworld and all that mess, there will be contained areas with the structures, players, and fights that will be their own thing. My plan is that these will be accessed through the story system, and will check the players stats to block them off from just going ghung ho into a fight they are not prepared for.
Currently, all of the work being done on this mod is by me (FireTamer81, otherwise known as the coder) & Callout_662 (otherwise known as the all-powerful 3d modeler).
