almost invisible crosshair

Greetings! I'm facing a rather vexing issue and here is the only place I may be able to find an answer. My issue is that my crosshair, dynamic as it is, is nearly invisible due to its EXTREMELY low opacity. Here are some image examples:
Here you can even see that the sword shows up in the colors I'd expect, which is what prompts me to think this mod might be the issue:
So, here are the things I've tried:
- Going through YACL and editing the dynamic crosshair config file. I have tried disabling and re-enabling blending, changing the color, and resetting all the settings to default, all to no avail. The color does change when I force a custom one, but it's still EXTREMELY transparent, almost as if I have no crosshair when I actually need it.
- disabling every single resource pack I had on, as well as disabling my shaders. Only disabling my shaders made the crosshair a tiny bit more visible:
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!
Here's my latest.log, in case it may help
I found the offending mod! It was a pain, as it usually is with modpacks of this size, but the offending mod was Dark Mode Everywhere. I quite liked the dark aesthetic, far easier on the eyes, but it does cause this issue with all crosshairs it seems.
The mod in question: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/dark-mode-everywhere
I don't know if patching the compatibility here is either viable or necessary but I do hope that anyone else with this issue stumbles upon this thread and maybe figures it out. Feel free to close this, and thanks again!
I am unable to replicate this in a Forge 1.20.1 instance with only DynamicCrosshair installed. There must be some incompatibility with another one of your mods. This transparency should only happen when combined with AutoHUD (and then only under certain conditions either); but that is clearly not the case here. Would you be able to try and track this down by disabling ~half your mods and then halving it until you find the one that causes the issue when combined with DC?
