Minecraft version: 1.21.1
Mod version: 9.3 + compat 4.2

Steps to reproduce:

1. Have this mod
2. Hold a placeable block (grass, lever, etc)
3. Look at placeable surface

Expected behavior: crosshair for block placement appears
Observable behavior: it strips away any crosshair whatsoever. Even with shield in offhand

In mod settings I have tried disabling "dynamically hide"
Also, the crosshair for block placement itself is present in the settings

Is this on Fabric or Forge? Can you tell me anything about the block crosshair you have configured; is it the default, a built-in, or a custom one?
