The Text for the custom Pick up is set at the pos of the cross hair making reading it harder. i don't know of there is a config option to fix this or this is bug.

Dynamic Surroundings does not have this feature. It does have a feature where compass/season information (or season if serene seasons is installed) when holding a compass, clock, or season calendar (for serene seasons).
