Video games are known for their easter eggs... little hidden gems within the game that only those in the know, know about.

Now you cna find literal easter eggs in minecraft! These structures are more than just floating orbs. Each one contains a challenging set of mobs or traps for the player to overcome in order to obtain the loot within.

Each egg structure is rare and will be on average, several thousnad blocks apart. This is a long term goal, and a great way to expand the things to do in a longer minecraft playthrough. It uses mostly vanilla blocks with the addition of the Chocolate Block and its building block counterparts.

Hints below:

There are 9 total structures each with the following Eggs:

Plains Egg, Cave Egg, Frozen Egg, Desert Egg, Forest Egg, Ocean Egg, Mushroom Egg, Nether Egg and End Egg

Each Egg Item will be contained with a structure of matching design and type. Its location is more or less hinted at by the name of the egg. Some eggs, such as the Cave Egg, are more common as finding an egg underground is much harder than finding an egg on the surface.

Each Egg structure, of which there are 9 total, will contain loot chest(s) with various loot AND a single "Egg" item" collect all 9 to craft the Faberge Egg; a powerful item that grants buffs to the player. These eggs are non-craftable so if you loose one in the void or lava, you will need to find a new structure.

In addition: You can earn extra XP by smelting any extra eggs that you obtain for 256 XP per standard egg (about 13 levels), or a whopping 15,000 XP for smelting down your treasured Faberge Egg (equivelent to about 74 levels). Smelting the Faberge Egg for XP can only be done ONE TIME. The other eggs can be smelted as many times as you want.

Additional Recomended Mods:

This mod is of course easter themed and goes well with my other holiday mods:

See my other mods for a complete list of curent holiday themed mods.

Current releases include:
Pot Of Gold!

Christmas Land!

Easter Eggs!

Holloween Craft!

I also highly recomens adding a recipe mode such as Just Enough Items.

Natures Compass is a great mod to aid in some of the harder to find locations.

Great for a single player world, but if playing on a larger server, or a LAN world, I highly suggest adding in a mod that allows the player loot chests to be player specific (in other words, the loot generates for every player).
