Welcome to Eddy's Realistic Street Lighting!!!

Current version is v1.2, containing 5 LED street lights, 8 standard street lights, 3 dim street lights and 5 different types of poles. (Scroll down to see functionality)

This mod is very early in development so many more things are coming, but this basic release version offers multiple types of lighting for your creative worlds for cities and other things! It should be noted that this mod is being built only for 1.12.2 right now! I may update to recent versions as time goes on, which is likely.

Ever since I started work on a large scale project, I've seen many awesome mods out there for roads with realistic markings, a whole variety of street signs and entire electricity pylon networks, however the one thing all these mods lack for the complete experience are real street lights. Ones that exist are either too basic in design, don't function well at all or just don't look like street lights at all, so this mod hopes to fill in that gap so you can use it with all the other road mods out there for the true city experience.

HOW IT WORKS

The way it works is very simple, place down the post sections to create some street posts and stick the street light blocks on the ends. When it turns night time, you should see that the area around them lights up as you'd expect, and that's it! Standard and LED street lights have the same brightness, but the dim street lights are significantly dimmer (hence the name), reflecting real life ones.

As of v1.2 you can now add different "tops" for different street pole designs rather than the standard curves. They are built the same way but do note that using Post Top 2 and 3 works very weird at the moment. You can also add vertical street lights if you don't want any horizontal parts by using the "side vertical" posts. Place down a regular one first to whatever height you want, place the side vertical "top" after, and then finish it with any street light to finish the structure. This will hopefully be more refined later down the road, but it's a start for now.

In its current state, this mod is for creative only projects, none of the blocks have recipes but eventually I will add that functionality in.

If you have any issues/suggestions, feel free to drop them in the comments. This is the first mod I've ever developed so I won't guarantee I can implement a lot for now, so keep that in mind please.
