Please bear with me, as I'm totally new to modded Minecraft servers and configuration.

We upgraded the Hermitpack server from pack 1.3.2 (?) to 1.4.0. In previous builds, vacuum chests were usable and created no problems. After not using them for a while, I placed one, yesterday, and was booted to the server selection screen when I attempted to access it. A very brief flicker of the chest GUI shows and then I am dropped from the world. The server does not appear to crash. Numerous configuration changes have been made since the last time I attempted to use these, so there's no telling what may have glitched them.

Issue Description:

Using FTB Presents HermitPack v 1.4.0 MC 1.10.2, player client is dropped to server selection screen when a vacuum chest inventory is accessed.

What happens:

Client crash to server screen

What you expected to happen:

Chest inventory GUI to be shown

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Place vacuum chest
  2. Right-click to open chest
  3. Sigh loudly and pull hair out, as you stare blankly at the server selection screen. :-)
    ...

Affected Versions (Do not use "latest"):

  • EnderIO: 1.10.2-3.0.1.126 (Beta)
  • EnderCore: 1.10.2-0.4.1.58 (Beta)
  • Minecraft: 1.10.2
  • Forge: Forge Mod Loader version 12.18.2.2124 for Minecraft 1.10.2

I forced an update, using the FTB launcher interface and it appears to have corrected the issue. If this was caused by client/server mis-match, it would make sense.

I will continue to monitor the issue and will update ticket with any new issues. For all intents and purposes, however, this ticket is closed.
