ghost like phase after using the telepad

Issue Description:

sometimes after using the telepad, i enter a ghost-like state.
I can not pick up items any more, pressure plates won't react ...
I am unable to mine blocks.
i can however interact with machines and pull levers.

What you expected to happen:

everything working as intended after using the telepad

Steps to reproduce:

  1. teleport
  2. teleport
  3. teleport
  4. teleport
  5. step on a pressure plate (connected to light or whatever)

Affected Versions (Do not use "latest"):

  • EnderIO: 5.0.26
  • EnderCore: 0.5.30
  • Minecraft: 1.12.2
  • Forge: 2705

Your most recent log file where the issue was present:

no crash, no log.

I also have encountered this bug recently. After it occurred I attempted to use Journey map to teleport to the end portal in the over world and see if I could get to The End but Journey map told me "cannot teleport when dead". I used the /kill command and re-spawned at base and was able to interact again with everything. I created a 10 minute YouTube video of the process I used if that helps.
Same as above regarding logs. The game didn't crash it just assumed I was dead and kept processing and running.

Follow up on this bug. This seems to Only happen when traveling from The End back to Overworld. I've setup RFtools teleport system as well and tested it and the same bug appears to happen if you go straight from The End to Overworld using RF tools teleportation. It Does not occur when going from The End to The nether or from The Nether to Overworld.

As far as I'm aware, dimension-travelling out of The End just does not work reliably by any means other than the vanilla "portal" (which actually kills you and silently respawns you at your respawn point).

The rftools teleportation system takes special care of teleporting out of the end and this has always worked fine. But apparently there is some kind of mod interaction that breaks this

This was caused by a recent incompatible Forge change MinecraftForge/MinecraftForge#4602 . Should be fixed in next version.
