If what is said in the tile true, then it might be a good idea to implement whatever you did to fix the shields to the one added in Immersive engineering, it seems to be having the same issue

oh, thainks, heres a current shot of it

it does the same thing as the regular in the mainhand, but for some reason it goes backwards in the offhand as you can see here
