[Request] Pixel locked shadows (Sharp and smooth options)

They have to be this smooth or you will encounter other way worse issues. VV actually experiences those issues and I expect Mojang to change shadows to also be smoother in the future
Flickering shadows. It's even visible in the VV trailer. Pixelated shadows are intentional but perhaps not the sharpness. Usually you want things anti-aliased when it comes to such effects.

Mojang said their shadows are intentional, and said they don't plan on changing it, so this you said is pretty much not the point of pixel locked shadows, during weather the shadows stay the same in VV so it's not a bug at all it's just how shadows are by intention, and what issues would I run into? That the shadows would be sharper? Literally my point they are sharper...

I guess... But the issue with this is that VV's shadows iirc are intentionally like that, and that is usually caused by them being pixel locked at 16x16 pixels
As you can see with Complementary's pixelated shadows, they are actually pixel locked. Even on entities and everything unlike VV so there they are already way superior. And the anti-aliasing applied, them not just being on or off shadows but having a softer edge makes them less harsh and prevents random flickering when the sun moves which inherently happens if you only have on/off states and no in-between

But even then:
There are shaders like "Visual Vibrance" that do this really well!
Sure they still have some issues like stuttering when I move around but that happens in literally every game xD
