[1.18.2] Chest recipe from quark

Basically quark adds a recipe that "undoes" the modded recipes in case the player wants the vanilla style recipe.
(You put a modded chest in the crafting table and it gives you a vanilla one)

Every Compat : 1.5.13
Forge : 40.1.85

It might also add the 8 logs to 4 chests recipe but I'm not sure.
If it is the case then its 2 quark recipes for chests, but I don't know if it can be made so that the recipes only exists when quark is installed...

Same problem exists in the 1.19.2 version.

@INooBTooMuch which mod has the modded chest or modded item in the recipe? Please try the latest version of EveryCompat & Moonlight Lib to see if the issue is resolved

Its not really a bug, more like a suggestion

I was asking for recipes like these : taking the modded wood type (log/wood stripped/not) and making 4 chests of the type
image
(they are added by quark for their chests only, but incase other types of wood are added and thus chests, similar recipes would be convenient)
Also this recipe that reverts the modded chest to the vanilla one (also from Quark)

The mod that I use right now is Born In Chaos and it adds one wood type. I also tried Biomes O' Plenty and BYG.
(I mean the mod works it adds the chests I was just suggesting the recipes)

Minecraft : 1.18.2
Forge : 40.2.0
Every Compat : 1.6.4

@INooBTooMuch
I somewhat understand. Let me get this right. Do you want EC to combine the wood type from Biomes O' Plenty (BOP) and BYG with the original chest from Minecraft OR Quark which has the "chest"?

commented

Its the vanilla one, takes the modded and converts it to the vanilla.

commented

ok got it. I'll do a bit of investigation to understand the system

sorry for the late reply. I've investigated this & wasn't able to reproduce the bug. I was able to turn any wood-type chest into a vanilla chest.

EDIT:
You may want to check Quark's configuration as Every Compat just follow what Quark is doing to these chests.
if the setting allows turning wood-type chests into the vanilla chest is DISABLED, then that's the problem.
