Actually I have an earlier version for minecraft 1.2.5. The extrabiome.cfg file which I managed to open by changing the extension to .txt does not have this feature to change the cracked sand settings.

I want anyway to update to minecraft latest version and therefore change my extrabiome version.

1. What to do fisrt : change the minecraft version or change the xtrabiom version
2. and how to disable the first Extrabiome version to replace with the other.
   I am not an experiences user but I learn fast when given complete explanation.
