Bug filled on Forestry dev forum: http://forestry.sengir.net/forum/viewtopic.php?pid=579#p579
But always good to check the forum first to see if it has been reported and the team made aware of it. If it had not, we still would have preferred the bug posted there so that other players can see the issue and our response as to what is causing it and how it is being resolved. If you had read the forum you would see that Shecky is aware of the issue and is working on a patch.
We have always asked that bugs be reported on the forum and only put here if asked to by the team as most players don't read this and then we are just having to reply to the same questions in multiple places.
It'd be great if you'd keep bugtracker updated.
It's easier for me to browse issues list and check from time to time if bug is fixed. Furthermore it's more bt is more clear for me than browsing single thread.
I am sorry that I was putting my time into trying to figure out why the bug was happening instead of posting issues on the bug tracker to make note that I knew about the bug.
That said, thanks for putting this on the bug tracker so that I have an issue to assign with the commit to help track the changes.
If it was something that is going to take a long time to fix or that we didn't know what was causing the problem then yes, we probably would add it. However, as I said, not many people check here regarding issues and so it's mostly used by the team. Also, it's pretty easy to check the forum thread and see that the last 4 or 5 posts have been about this issue. Most of the time if there is an issue going on then it is going to be in the most recent posts.
Sorry... Sorry... I meant this issue since I've linked it in forestry forum thread about its alpha version. Don't kill me!
Also, we are lucky that Shecky is on the team now and is working on a fix. In the past we didn't normally update our API for alpha versions as they are generally unstable and would just keep breaking the API every time they would add something else. :P
I've already pushed the fix to github, but until the fermenter is actually working properly I can't tell for sure if it is working as expected so until the I the fermenter is working properly working I am going to leave this open.
