As the title suggests, developers have been made aware of this issue, just want it on the Github as a reminder for future updates, the bottom of the old style redwood trees fail to generate properly. Picture attached showing it in detail.

I have downgraded to Java 7 and done another test against Forge Build 1236, again just with Forge and ExtraBiomesXL, same outcome, any further advice? Could there be anything else different in my setup to yours?
Please post more information. The forgelogs would be helpful here as we have no idea what versions of software or other mods are involved.
Also, please post on the MCF post to see if anyone else has had this issue (no one has reported it)
Updated the comment to include a forge log, this is an environment that only has Forge and EBXL installed. The result is still present when using the legacy config option. I have already posted about this on the forum previously and as far as I can tell no-one has tested it. However developers were informed and informed me it was scheduled for investigation when the tree code was refactored, this job I believe was set to be investigated by Shecky who has since stepped down. Let me know if you need further information.
We cannot duplicate this and this is the only report of this that we have had to date. I did notice that you are using Java 1.8...and while I don't know that is a problem, several users have reported peculiarities with Minecraft on Java 1.8 (Mojang has Java 1.8 support on its product roadmap.)
