Simple roofs with different textures for the tiles and the bottom part.
The model could be something like the ones we see in many mods like these:

I like the idea, but I don't want to play copycat here, so I'll have to think a bit about the best way to do this, mainly to make it at least a bit unique.
This would also be a better fit for the architecture-focused addon I'm working on. I'll keep this issue here until that addon is ready and then I'll move it over to the other repository.

one thing that most wont do which you do is the shingels usally are the same color as the block being used.
a good base would be the fancy rail slope we have and change the rails into shingels so people can have the same color for the block base too fit walls and then have the shingels be another block texture
